It really sounds like they may have found the man responsible for her disappearance.
To recap, earlier this month, we were dismayed to learn that six years after Natalee Holloway’s disappearance in Aruba, 35-year-old Maryland woman Robyn Gardner was reported missing from the same resort town.
The man she was on the island with, Gary Giordano, is currently under investigation, and Robyn’s boyfriend Richard Forester has had accusatory things to say about him.
Gary had been claiming that Robyn went missing after a snorkeling session, but a source who saw the two is now saying that they never went snorkeling.
Here’s what Aruba Solicitor General Taco Stein had to say about the new information:
“We’re investigating that material, seeing the relevance to the investigation.”
Aside from snorkeling, there’s also a “$1.5 million American Express accidental life insurance policy” that was taken out on Robyn, with Gary being named as her beneficiary.
Just awful. At this point, we’d be VERY surprised if this guy wasn’t involved with this tragic disappearance.
