This is something different!
According to new reports, American Idol/So You Think You Can Dance producer Nigel Lythgoe is in talks with the CW to create a show which would be kind of like Idol…but with families!
CW prez Mark Pedowitz had mentioned that this show was in the works earlier in the month at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, and NOW it looks like it might actually happen!
Definitely exciting news for talented family acts all over the country. Should be interesting to see how this one fares against the other singing competition shows…assuming it makes it to the air.
And hey! Maybe E! Network can make a similar show to compete! They can call it Kompeting With The Kardashians!
…We better go trademark that ASAP…
Do U have a talented family? Would U want to go on this show with them???
