WTF?? How is this possible? We don’t buy this for a second!
Everyone knows Oprah was one of Barack Obama‘s biggest supporters before during the 2008 presidential election. Ever since their big victory, the network owner and the President have maintained a very close relationship — but the same canNOT be said about the first lady!
According to a new book, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House, written by former New York Times Magazine editor Ed Klein the two powerful women have been “at war” since Berry was elected.
Why would these strong women fight? According to the book Michelle Obama thinks her husband’s closeness with Oprah is bad for his image. She wants little to do with Oprah now that the family is in the White House, and never takes any of O’s calls.
Klein says after Michelle rejected Oprah’s request to have her on the show to talk about child obesity, Oprah went around announcing:
“Michelle hates fat people and doesn’t want me waddling around the White House!”
He goes on to say that Michelle is jealous that her husband often calls Mz Winfrey for advice on gaining popularity. Apparently Michelle thinks he should be asking her about that kind of stuff, and NOT confiding in another woman.
Oh, puh-lease! Is anyone really buying this???
To us, it doesn’t really add up. WHY would two of the most powerful well loved women in the nation bicker like mean girls??
We’re sure they have MUCH better things to do, than call each other fat and fight over a boy!
