The producer who made Pamela Anderson‘s cooking series has thoughts on Meghan Markle‘s new show!
Before the Duchess of Sussex even premiered her Netflix cooking show earlier this week, fans noticed that it seemed almost identical to the Baywatch star’s show on the Flavour Network. For one, the titles are pretty similar: Pamela’s Cooking With Love vs. With Love, Meghan. But the content, and especially the trailers, were nearly frame-by-frame copycats!

Pamela’s teaser dropped in October 2024 and debuted on February 24 (after being greenlit a year prior). Interestingly, Meg almost beat her to the punch. Prince Harry‘s wife released her sneak peek in January, shortly before the eight-episode series was supposed to premiere in January 15 before it was postponed to March because of the LA wildfires. In both shows, the women invite friends and chefs over to learn new recipes and hosting techniques.

That’s not all. Fans also called out the ex-royal for copying Pamela’s attire during her press tour! The Playboy model rocked a straw hat on the cover of Better Homes & Gardens last year — and Meghan did the same thing on the cover of People!

LOLz! Meghan just can’t avoid controversy no matter how hard she tries! Are these just coincidences? Or did Meghan really copy Pamela??
Well, on Monday, the co-creator, co-writer, and executive producer of Pamela’s series, Jesse Fawcett, told DailyMail.com what he thought of the whole situation, saying:
“We take pride in planting the first seeds — creating original, distinctive programming that audiences love — and it’s a compliment to see our work with Ms Anderson resonate so strongly.”
Does anybody else think that sounds a bit shady?? Cause we’re detecting a hint of it! The producer is clearly trying not to ruffle too many feathers, but he’s certainly not denying the fan theories! Claiming they were the “first” with the idea says a lot!
