Our heart goes out to Patton Oswalt for his horrible loss…
As we reported, in April 2016, the comedian’s wife Michelle McNamara passed away at the age of 46. According to a spokesperson, her death “was a complete shock to her family and friends, who loved her dearly.”

On Friday, the actor revealed that Michelle died from a combination of prescription medications — including Adderall, Xanax, and the pain medication fentanyl — and an undiagnosed heart condition. He said:
“We learned today the combination of drugs in Michelle’s system, along with a condition we were unaware of, proved lethal.”
It’s important to note that Los Angeles coroner Lt. David Smith still lists McNamara’s cause of death as pending.
