Woah…
We can’t tell if this is totally cool or totally creepy!
Paul McCartney and John Lennon are hands down the GREATEST song writing duo that rock and roll has ever known. And Paul, who has just released his 24th studio album, says he’s still getting by with a little help from his friend, even after John’s death in 1980!
In a recent interview, McCartney opened up to Rolling Stone about how he continues to have conversations with John Lennon’s spirit and even writes music with his ghost! Paul explained:
“If I’m at a point where I go, ‘I’m not sure about this’, I’ll throw it across the room to John. He’ll say, ‘You can’t go there, man’. And I’ll say, ‘You’re quite right. How about this?’ ‘Yeah, that’s better’. We’ll have a conversation. I don’t want to lose that.”
True genius never dies. And neither does a remarkable friendship like Paul and John’s.
McCartney released the epic video for his new single Queenie Eye today and all we can say is, it’s 4 minutes of proof that the Beatle legend has still got it!
John would be so proud, Sir Paul!
