Pete Davidson Blacklisted After Breaking #1 Hollywood Rule: REPORT

Pete Davidson was on top of the world, showing up in everything from rom coms to superhero movies — not to mention being one of the most talked-about standups. Now he’s reportedly struggling to book work… But why??

On Wednesday, an insider told The US Sun that the former SNL cast member is having a hard time landing work in Tinsel Town… And it’s all because he broke a rule you are NOT supposed to break! He pulled the plug on projects that were already in the pipeline! One of them was his hit Peacock show Bupkis — which had already been renewed for Season 2:

“When Bupkis was set for Season 2, and Pete suddenly backed out of it, people were furious with him.”

Yeesh… That’s a BIG no-no in Hollywood. Like, HUGE. A LOT of people bank on projects when they get greenlit and clear their schedules to make time for production. So that affected TONS of actors, creatives, and crew… But mostly it costs studios money!

See, there’s a lot you can get away with in this town… as long as the money keeps flowing. Execs will ignore accusations, arrests, bad behavior, plagiarism… as long as you’re making them money. But putting the money in jeopardy? It’s like the #1 rule.

According to the source, Pete’s own team is struggling to get the 31-year-old to play ball like other stars his age:

“His team keeps trying to get him to go on social media, so he went on, but then he got back off. The guy is just really hard to work with.”

Yikes! Hopefully he has some money saved up… Not that his SNL funds were that much…

He also canceled his Prehab comedy tour to check into rehab — so while great for him personally, it wasn’t necessarily good news for the execs hoping to leech money off of him. However, a second source begged to differ, claiming the offers are still coming in left and right. It’s just that Pete just ain’t interested in ’em:

“He gets movies and TV offers every week, but they are not necessarily aligned with things he’s looking to do. He is actually continuously getting offers, but he’s figuring out exactly what he wants.”
