Looks like Prada’s trying to make some extra money by branching out.
The fashion company has decided to create a limited edition eyewear collection.
The collection will be unveiled tonight in New York at Joe’s Pub and features a collaboration with international comic-book illustrators.
Illustrators will design a new heroine wearing a pair of the new Prada Swing shades and the winner will have their creation included in a Prada comic.
The glasses come in black, ivory and tortoise and feature colored lenses. As for pricing, a set of shades will set you back around $245.
The Prada Swing Sunglasses by Luxottica are set to hit stores later this October.
