Prince Harry is clearly having the BEST time as a new dad!
The Duke of Sussex had to leave his newborn son, Master Archie, along with new momma Meghan Markle at home back at Frogmore Cottage this week in order to attend to some official business — namely to head to Oxford to visit the city’s Children’s Hospital!

While there, and continuing the work started at the hospital by his late mom, Princess Diana, it was very clear that although Harry appreciated the time he was able to spend with children receiving treatment and the staff caring for them, he still nevertheless was REALLY missing his son! Awww!
Speaking to Amy Scullard, a mother of two at the hospital who was holding her 10-week-old daughter Ida while chatting with the royal, the Prince opened up some about the first few days at home with Baby Archie, revealing to the young mother (below):
“He said he’s getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life. He said he just feels part of the family and he can’t imagine life without his son.”
Awwwww!
It must have been quite the heavy visit for Harry, even more so than normal; for example, Scullard’s other child — a two-year-old son — had been diagnosed with cancer and was receiving treatment at the hospital as Harry visited. Childhood cancer is serious and scary enough on its own, but to have your own newborn baby only to then be confronted by it is quite the reality check.
The young royal spent the whole day in Oxford, both at the hospital and later at the Disability Sports and Leisure Centre — which was actually opened by his late mom, Princess of Wales, almost exactly 30 years ago — and learned better how people with disabilities can find meaning through sports and fitness classes. No doubt this must be a realm in which Harry can make a real difference, especially with his long-standing commitment to the Invictus Games!

But before too long, it was time for Harry to get back to Meghan and that beautiful baby boy — and it’s there at Frogmore Cottage where he’ll likely lay low with them at least for a while as the couple gets accustomed to the major new addition to their family.
We’re so happy for them both! Here’s to a happy, healthy, and wonderful baby boy and best wishes to the whole family as they become closer than ever after the birth! Adorbs!!
