Like his late mother Princess Diana, Prince Harry is a royal for the people!
On Monday, it was revealed that the ginger prince and fianc├â┬⌐e Meghan Markle have chosen to keep politics out of their wedding. Meaning, the twosome have decided that they WON’T extend wedding invitations to Barack and Michelle Obama OR Donald and Melania Trump. In fact, not even British Prime Minister Theresa May made the guest list for the May 19 nuptials.

What a bold move!!
Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer confirmed this news to be true, as he took to Twitter on Tuesday and shared:
There will be no official UK or overseas guests at Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding. No Theresa May, President Trump or Obamas.

A KP spokesman says: “It has been decided that an official list of political leaders ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ both UK and international – is not required for Prince Harry and Ms. Markle’s wedding. Her Majesty’s Government was consulted on this decision, which was taken by The Royal Household.”

So why the political snub?? Per Mr. Palmer, since Harry is unlikely to ever be king, “there’s no need for official guests.” He continued:
Essentially, it’s been decided that there’s no need for official guests, as Prince Harry is not likely to be a future King. Everyone inside the chapel will know Harry and Meghan personally.

On foreign royalty attending Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding, I’m told it will depend if they are friends. Nobody will be invited because of the position they hold.

Sounds fair to us!
Not to mention, it appears that Harry and Meghan are using their wedding day as a way to celebrate the people of the U.K. As we previously reported, the engaged love birds made sure to expand their royal wedding guest list to include more “members of the public.”
Amid all this guest list talk, Kensington Palace confirmed some of the public citizens who’ve been invited to the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The palace noted online:
Here are the stories of some of the people who will be joining the celebrations in the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19th:

This is so incredible!
While we’re saddened to learn that the Obamas won’t be at the royal wedding, we’re happy to report that Harry and Meghan “are very much looking forward to seeing them soon.” See?? The engaged pair can have their cake AND eat it too!!
38 days until the wedding, folks!!
