It’s like South Park all over again!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were used as a punchline in this week’s episode of Family Guy! And the comedy really took some specific hits!
In the episode, which aired on Sunday, Peter Griffin compares himself to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as he discusses how he’s going to get money he is owed. Sitting with friends in a bar, he says he’ll “go it alone” like the royals did. The series then does one of its classic random cutaways to a cartoon version of the couple sitting in swimwear, lounging by the pool. A butler approaches the Invictus Games founder with a check, saying:
“Sir, your millions from Netflix for… no one knows what.”
LOLz!

Harry tells him to “put it with the rest of them.” The Suits alum then checks her phone and realizes:
“Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.”
Dissing the entire British monarchy, Harry complains:
“I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense.”

Oof!! Brutal!
And also SUPER on theme with everything we’ve heard about the Sussexes lately! For instance, Meg supposedly secured an Instagram account as she prepares to reenter Hollywood with a splash. Numerous insiders have said she could make BANK on the ‘gram through sponsored posts — and they speculated it would be WAY more than a measly $250k! Eric Schiffer told DailyMail.com it could be closer to $1 million per post!
Of course, there’s also all their other business drama. After losing their Spotify deal (and getting called “f**king grifters” by Bill Simmons, an exec for the streaming service), many have wondered if they’re really earning their big Netflix paycheck. The company has supported them through the releases of several docuseries, but we’ll see how long the partnership lasts!
As mentioned, this sitcom dig comes months after South Park also threw punches at the royals, blasting them for drawing so much attention to themselves while claiming they want to live private lives.
Harry and Meghan reportedly were not fans of that parody — there was even talk they might try to sue — so they’re likely going to hate this Family Guy reference too!
What about YOU, Perezcious readers? What do you think of the jokes? Spot on or just kicking the couple while they’re down? Sound OFF (below)!
