A former royal aide just broke his silence on Prince William and Prince Harry‘s feud!
Jason Knauf, who was a communications secretary for both brothers and their wives Princess Catherine and Meghan Markle, sat down with 60 Minutes Australia on Sunday and spoke out for the first time about the sibling rivalry. While he didn’t get into the nitty-gritty of what went wrong, he confirmed it’s been “sad” for everyone close to the pair to witness, remarking:
“It’s very difficult to have this stuff play out in the public eye, but [William]’s chosen to keep his thoughts on it private, and I think all of us who know him really have to respect that we should do the same.”
Seems like he’s leaning toward Team William with that response…

But he continued:
“But I will say, of course, it’s been hard and sad, especially for all of us who know both of them.”
Just because he’s respecting Willy’s privacy doesn’t mean he has any beef with Harry or Meghan. The aide noted their 2018 wedding was an “amazing, magical experience,” adding:
“I worked really closely with the two of them, and we had lots of great times.”
When asked if there’s a chance the Spare author could ever rejoin the royal family in a working capacity once his older brother takes the throne, Jason stayed tight-lipped, sharing:
“I can’t speculate about the future. They achieved a lot together, and none of that can ever be taken away.”
TBH, that seems VERY unlikely right now. Since Harry stepped back from his royal role, he’s had very little interaction with his brother or father King Charles III. Even Charles and Kate Middleton‘s cancer diagnoses haven’t been enough to fix this feud. Sources have also claimed the Prince of Wales is campaigning to get his younger brother kicked off their father’s will. So, there’s been nothing to indicate that William wants anything to do with Harry once he takes charge. Maybe things will change in the future, but right now, it’s not looking so good…
