There are so many things that we don’t know about the royal family, but this is one thing we do!
Prince William has been spending a lot of time with Kate Middleton leading up to the birth of their child, and he’ll be staying at home with them for two weeks after.
Taking this paternity leave makes him the first senior royal to do so ever!
This is partially because it wasn’t introduced until 2003 in Britain, but it’s still pretty cool!
Also, it sets a good example since he does have a job as a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue pilot.
The more we hear about how this dynamic duo is modernizing traditions, the more we love them!
