It’s not too difficult to see a picture of a father “breastfeeding” their child and get the wrong idea, but this unconventional campaign has a surprisingly sweet sentiment to it!
Project: BreastFeeding is an organization founded by photographer Hector Cruz who began doing some research when he noticed his wife was having difficulty feeding their newborn daughter!
The new father was SHOCKED to see some of the negative reactions people had to breastfeeding and decided to take action and show some support for mothers by removing the stigma against breastfeeding once and for all!
The idea is pretty simple: If dads had a chance to step into their partner’s shoes and endure the pain and criticism they feel every time they breastfeed, they probably would!
So he recruited some proud poppas to do just that!!
