Puppy Bowl Scores Big Ratings

Yay for puppies!
Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl VII, which aired this past Sunday as an alternative to the Super Bowl, drew a record number of viewers.
1.7 million viewers tuned in for its premiere, up 60% from the previous year, while the entire 12-hour marathon drew a total of 9.2 million viewers.
With cute puppies like MVP C.B. (pictured above), it doesn’t surprise us one bit that millions would watch this adorable broadcast.
Plus, maybe Puppy Bowl ref Andrew Schecter‘s shout-out to Teddy Hilton didn’t hurt either. Ha!
