Ever wish you could see some of your Real Housewives faves like Lisa Vanderpump or Phaedra Parks strut their stuff on Dancing With The Stars???
Uh, well…that might only be happening in the Bravo clubhouse in your dreams.
Reportedly, DWTS producers and network heads REFUSE to put ANY housewives on the show because they don’t think they have enough star power!
Whaaaat??? These ladies rake in the ratings with each season of their shows!!
Sounds like both past AND current housewives have tried to get on the show in the past, but were shot down every time — including Beverly Hills housewife, Taylor Armstrong!
A source explains:
“Dancing With The Stars is a family friendly show and a lot of the cast members from the Housewives have all sorts of unsavory issues in their background and sadly, the women tend to get more negative press than positive, and ABC would never want to go down that road. ABC doesn’t shy away from casting controversial stars, from Bristol Palin to Kate Gosselin, but both of those ladies have a hard core fan base.├óΓé¼┬¥
Pretty sure if we were going to compare fan bases between Bristol Palin and say, Nene Leakes, the latter would win out! Just sayin├óΓé¼Γäó…! BOOP!
There’s also that little factor that DWTS is on ABC and Bravo is owned by NBC, which could be the main reason why this would never happen.
Guess we├óΓé¼Γäóll never see Ramona├óΓé¼Γäós Turtle Time anywhere but Bravo…or Melissa Gorga├óΓé¼Γäós scandalicious dancing!
And how GREAT would Camille Grammer have been, with her Club MTV past?!
We think Andy Cohen should just create his OWN dancing competition…Dancing With The Housewives! Ha!
