Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner have plenty of fans… but is Rebecca Romijn one of them?!
The Skin Wars host recently got real with Entertainment Tonight about the gorgeous gals’ modeling careers, and it doesn’t seem like she’s exactly impressed with KenGi!

Late last year, Vogue declared the leggy ladies were officially promoted to supermodel status, but the 43-year-old doesn’t believe they’ve quite reached that level yet, saying:
“No one has proven yet that numbers of followers translates to revenue. So it is frustrating.”
We totally get why the X-Men alum would be upset at the stars’ success, considering she got her own start in the fashion industry.
But, the beauty straight-up says that she — and some of her unnamed colleagues — don’t believe the girls are worthy of the title, adding:
“I know a lot of people — legitimate fashion people — can’t stand it. Hate it that these, you know, social media stars are now the supermodels in fashion. They are not true supermodels.”
Woah. That’s some serious shade the California native is throwing!
And the lovely ladies aren’t her only targets! Jerry O’Connell‘s wife also slammed the glossy who gave them the distinction in the first place, explaining that she’s not about how Instagram models are becoming super successful:
“And the thing is, I have always looked to Vogue magazine to lead the way, not be a follower. I rely on Vogue to set the standard, not follow what everybody else is doing. So I have been disappointed that fashion magazines have been supporting this trend of social media stars to set our style standards. But it will change; fashion always does.”
However, Rebecca took to Twitter on Wednesday to deny dissing Kendall and Gigi, posting:
hey @kendalljenner @gigihadid don’t believe the #clickbait. Never talked smack about you. Both amazing & beautiful pic.twitter.com/4WFSVLgRNC
