Sadface! No one said fighting crime was easy!
Robert Downey Jr. injured his ankle on the set of Iron Man 3 and now he’s unable to work!
Thankfully, he wasn’t hurt too badly and the production delay will supposedly be a short one!
We don’t have all the deets on what went down, but we do know the injury occurred during a stunt sequence mishap!
Maybe Thor, Hulk, Captain America, and Black Widow will travel to NC and avenge this unfortunate mishap keep their comrade company during his rehab!
Marvel only released this statement:
“Robert Downey Jr. sustained an ankle injury on the set of Iron Man 3 in Wilmington, North Carolina while performing a stunt. There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates.”
