With Cuba opening itself up to the West, one of the changes coming will be things like this: more worldly events, and more opportunities and experiences for the Cuban people.
For the Stones, it’s a great way to perform a once-in-a-lifetime concert and add one more country to the band’s list of hundreds of nations they’ve already visited on tour over the last five decades!
On their official website, the Stones released a message about their decision to play in Cuba:

“We have performed in many special places during our long career but this show in Havana is going to be a landmark event for us, and, we hope, for all our friends in Cuba too.”

Nice!
The concert will be paired with a donation drive led by the band, aiming to bring musical instruments and equipment to Cuban musicians in need.
The show, which will take place on Friday, March 25 at the Ciudad Deportiva de la Habana in the capital city of Havana, has been made possible by the Fundashon Bon Intenshon, helped in part by a nearby island in the Caribbean: Curaçao!

We just can’t wait to see the highlights of Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, and the rest of ’em performing there in late March!!!
It’s going to be so amazing!
