Rooney Mara is apparently pleased with her new status as a respected actress, at least as far as David Fincher is concerned, and wasted no time shitting all over her first role on Law & Order: SVU!
Well, apparently, the trend is continuing, because in a recent interview, she went after her second step up in the industry – her lead role in the recent remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street!
She explains:
“You kind of learn to self-sabotage with things you don’t want to get. Sometimes you don’t want to get something but you do a really good job and you get in anyway. That’s kind of [what happened] with A Nightmare on Elm Street – I didn’t even really want it. And then I went in [to audition] and I was like, [whispering] ‘Fuck. I definitely got that’.”
Okay, to be fair – that movie is crap (No offense Connie Britton, Jackie Earle Haley, Katie Cassidy) but we are not enjoying this false sense of entitlement, gurl.
Just ask Katherine Heigl‘s career what happens when you start to bite the hand that feeds it.
