Rupert Everett Advises Gay Actors Not To Come Out In Hollywood...Again

Despite the fact that there are more successful gay celebrities than ever, Rupert Everett believes their success comes in spite of their sexuality.
Or at least that’s the impression we’ve gathered after witnessing this interview of him on BBC’s HARDTalk.
Here’s one part of what he said:

“Straight men get every opportunity to play gay parts that they want and then win tons of awards for doing so. But the other way doesn├óΓé¼Γäót really work out. The mainstream actor has had to become straighter and straighter and straight.”

There are literally hundreds of examples that we think would disprove Everett’s theory, but we don’t think any amount of evidence will change this man’s mind.
