Possible, though we don’t put too much stock in his voice!
Sources are claiming that the duo have recorded a song together – all about pussy!
Katy Perry and Russell Brand have reportedly recorded a duet together, performing a version of Edward Lear’s 1871 poem The Owl and the Pussycat in a Los Angeles studio.
Interesting!
The insider suggest that while Katy was working, “Russell was just messing around in the studio.” That’s when he pulled out the poem, pretending to sing the lines into the microphone. Lines like: “Oh lovely Pussy! Oh Pussy my love, what a beautiful Pussy you are.”
Supposedly, this poem serves as an inside joke for the couple, though we think it is just an excuse for Russell to say dirty words and get away with it. Anyway, the source then claims his delivery of the poem was “amazing” and so, they laid it down to track.
The source says:
“It was actually really good. With work, it could be a really interesting track, evocative of The Goons or Monty Python. They were very harmonious. Everyone was transfixed.”
Eh, just sounds like they were screwing around to us. We think Russell knows his place well enough not to think he can crossover into Katy’s expertise.
But stranger things have happened.
Would U listen to their duet?
