Scheana Shay cannot believe she did not see some of the signs about Scandoval!
Ever since Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ affair was exposed, several members of the Vanderpump Rules cast have been going back over the past seven months in their heads — and on the show — to see what big hints about their relationship they missed. And looking back, Scheana has realized there were a bunch of glaring “red flags” she failed to notice before the cheating scandal made headlines.

The 37-year-old told her co-star Lala Kent on Friday’s episode of the Scheananigans podcast:
“There were a lot of red flags that watching back the show now, I’m like, ‘How did I miss the signs? How did I not see that? How could I allow someone so evil into my home?’”
Oof. Scheana noted she first “started to think” something strange was up when Raquel attended a Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras show in Rosewood, California, in November 2022 — and never posted footage from the concert on social media. Super sus! Lala then recalled how she brought that fact up to the Good As Gold singer back then, saying:
“Babe, I remember when I told you that. … That was the first time I could see the wheels going. You were like, ‘Wait, that is weird.’”
The incident was so sketchy to the 32-year-old at the time that she even warned Scheana that “if the smallest chance [of her] believes this is true,” she should “prepare to never be friends with them again.” Damn! Summer Moon’s momma added:
“It’s so crazy, because from that, then I started seeing things.”
Once again, we ask: Did anyone tell Ariana Madix about these suspicions back then?! Jeez. Could have warned her about these weird moments between Raquel and Sandoval and saved her from being completely blindsided by all of this drama.
Another “red flag” the two noticed was the 28-year-old former pageant queen usually had her location turned on for her friends — but suddenly stopped sharing it with the group one day. Scheana recounted that one night she never heard from Raquel about whether or not she got “home safe” and went to check her location — only to realize it wasn’t coming up anymore:
“I noticed her location was off when I just went to see if she made it home safe one night because she didn’t respond to my text. I’m like, ‘Hey, home safe?’ No response. I’m like, ‘Let me just check. Hmm, location not loading, not available, not available. Like, that’s weird. She must not have service.’”
Lala agreed, explaining that it was “weird when [Leviss] shared her location for such a long time and then turns it off.” Yikes. That is definitely a big sign. Without the context of knowing she was cheating, they just didn’t put two and two together. But clearly, Raquel was doing whatever it took to make sure no one caught onto her relationship with Sandoval. And we can bet the VPR crew will figure out some more obvious red flags as Season 10 of the Bravo show continues to roll out.
