This is amazing news!
Congratulations might be in order for two of the kids from School of Rock! Why? It appears they are engaged 21 years after starring in the film alongside Jack Black! OMG!
For those who don’t know, Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, who portrayed classmates Marta and Frankie, announced their romance back in 2021. In an interview with Inside Edition, the lovebirds explained they began dating five years prior after reconnecting when she moved to Florida, where he had been living at the time. According to Angelo, he found out she relocated in “a group chat where all the School of Rock kids, we just hit each other up whenever someone moves somewhere new or is doing something different.” The pair then met up for lunch, dinner, and drinks — and they really hit it off! As Angelo put it:
“The rest is history. This is locked down. Yes. This is it.”

Now, it looks like they are taking the next step in their relationship! On Instagram Thursday, Caitlin posted a carousel of photos, showing off a diamond ring on that finger while the couple posed for the camera! In the pictures, she wore a stunning black strapless gown with her blonde hair in an up-do and a rock on her finger, while Angelo sported a suit.
While Caitlin did not explicitly say they were engaged, a picture is worth a thousand words! The diamond on that finger says it all! She even teased in the caption:
