Scott Disick's Rehab Center Addresses Potential Lawsuit Surrounding Alleged 'Violation Of Privacy'

Scott Disick rehab center responds drama

The rehab center Scott Disick recently checked out of is addressing the drama involving his brief stay and what he claims was the breach of his privacy.

As we reported, the KUWTK star temporarily checked into Colorado treatment center All Points North Lodge before abruptly leaving after a photo of him inside the facility was leaked.

Shortly after the story broke, the father-of-three’s lawyer, Marty Singer, confirmed they are planning to take legal action, as they believe the pic was taken by a staff member and not a patient — which would be a monumental violation of privacy.

Singer said:

“Shockingly as a result of the HIPAA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home. We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action.”

Now, Noah Nordheimer, president and All Points North Lodge, has reacted to the situation, saying in a statement to E! News:

“My team and I are aware of the information publicized on May 4, 2020 by the Daily Mail and other media sources regarding All Points North (APN) Lodge. The protection of our clients’ personal and confidential information is of the utmost importance to us. It is APN’s strict policy to not publicly disclose patient-specific information, including whether or not a particular client is or was being treated at our facility, or has inquired about our services. If it were determined that any information relating to any client was ever obtained from APN facilities and provided to a media outlet, APN will take all legal action available against that individual, including cooperating with law enforcement and other governmental authorities.”

The statement concluded:

“The APN Lodge team is overwhelmingly a group who dedicates their lives to bettering others and we are sickened by any publication who would report on an individual’s life struggles without their consent.”

We guess not everyone working at the facility feels the same way, if Scott’s legal team is to be believed…

As for the 36-year-old’s “life struggles,” Singer clarified that Kourtney Kardashian‘s baby daddy did not check in for any alcohol or cocaine abuse” as was initially reported, but admitted himself because he was challenged by the isolation of the coronavirus lockdown and wanted to do some preventative work.

The lawyer wrote:

“In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas. He did not check in for any alcohol or cocaine abuse.”

We’re wishing Scott the best at this time. Let’s hope this recent drama hasn’t traumatized him too much!
