Scott Disick 'In A Lot Of Pain' & 'Drifting' After Being 'Chased' From Rehab

Scott Disick Rehab Treatment Facility Alternative

Fans of Scott Disick will know he’s been in and out of rehab before — but this time is a little different.

Unlike his infamous stint in a Florida facility the day he and Kourtney Kardashian split, lasting mere hours before he checked himself out, this time outside forces pushed him out.

If you haven’t heard, the 36-year-old entered the All Points North Lodge in Edwards, Colorado on Tuesday, April 28 — only to duck out less than a week later as a photo from inside the facility leaked to the outside world, making him feel unsafe.

You can’t really blame him, but… he still needs help, right?

Based on reports the father of three was “spiraling in his thoughts” during all the downtime of quarantine — and allegedly abusing cocaine and alcohol (though that aspect was denied by his lawyer). So if not rehab what does he do now?

A source tells People Scott is “committed to getting better” and “will do anything to help himself be the right type of man and father, but being somewhere where photos are released is not a safe place for him.”

“He needs to be safe and secure. He needs to be somewhere private where he can work on the things that are keeping him from being who he wants to be. He can’t get there if he’s not safe, which is why he left.”

That’s understandable. But is it just a matter of finding another facility? The insider says:

“He’s looking into his next steps. He’s talking to a lot of people who can give him psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual health. He knows he needs all four.”

Thankfully, per the source, Scott is “not in the dire straits he was in a couple of years back” so it’s not so much of an emergency he doesn’t have time to find a plan B. However, he still “needs help”:

“He needs a lot of healing. He’s in a lot of pain, and he’s drifting right now. He wants to be the man and the father he was created to be, but he’s falling very short right now. So he’s been taking care of that. He needed help. And it’s really unfortunate that he was chased out of rehab like he was.”

We hope he hasn’t given up on the idea of rehab altogether. While his privacy was clearly violated, that doesn’t mean it’s likely to happen again. Tons of celebs go to facilities every month without anyone ever finding out.

And it’s that kind of intensive extra care Scott needs, according to the source:

“He needs more than just counseling. Scott will be the first person to tell you that he’s got an addictive personality and that he has trouble managing some of his demons. So he needed some professional help, which included rehab. It was 100 percent the right decision for him, and I wish he were still there. He needs some help making sure that his addictive personality doesn’t get the better of him.”

Well, the most important thing is that Lord Disick recognizes he needs help — and he has a lot of support, including girlfriend Sofia Richie and ex Kourtney Kardashian who reportedly teamed up to push him into going to rehab in the first place.

The insider agrees:

“His family couldn’t possibly be any more supportive of him. Everyone loves him and wants him to get better, and that includes everyone. The entire Kardashian family is in his corner, and wants him to get things turned around. He’s got a support system, no matter what.”

Well, we’re sending our good thoughts as well!
