Hayden Panettiere does not wish to be the cheerleader who saves the world forever. She has her sights set for higher things or, as she sees it, more serious projects.
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm working toward being a respected actress. Meryl Streep is it for me,” she says.
Um, not with movies like I Love You, Beth Cooper you’re not!
Hayden reveals that she feels somewhat smothered by the fact that her personal life seems more interesting than her acting chops and hopes to change that with future roles down the line.
├óΓé¼┼ôYou don├óΓé¼Γäót play villains unless you├óΓé¼Γäóre Sharon Stone when you├óΓé¼Γäóre blond and you look a certain way,” she says. “I think it would be exciting for me to play the bad guy in a movie. It would be a blast. I think it├óΓé¼Γäós so much fun to play bad.├óΓé¼┬¥
You want to be Sharon Stone & Meryll Streep? Lofty!
Truthfully, Hayden, the likelihood of that happening is slim. Possible, but mildly.
We recommend giving up the snooty-booty serious acting theories and stick to being on the pep squad. Maybe you could be a bitchy, villain cheerleader. We know you’d land that shiz!
