Cancer is a war that is fought one battle at a time.
Shannen Doherty highlighted this fact in a recent health update she shared with her followers on Instagram. Despite receiving some concerning test results, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum is “staying positive.”

As you surely know, Miz Doherty is in remission after aggressively battling breast cancer. However, doctors are still closely monitoring her health. Alongside the selfie (above), Shannen wrote:
“Test and results. One Tumor marker test came back good. Other… elevated. Just means I get monitored and another test. But even after that call, I’m staying positive and taking stock of my life.”
There’s no denying that the Charmed actress is one brave woman. And it appears that she’s learned quite a bit amid this health struggle. She continued:
“It certainly helps put things in perspective and reminds you of what you learned thru the cancer journey. And I sometimes, need a refresher. As I’ve said before, cancer changes your life in ways no one could ever imagine…..btw, the elevation can be from all sorts of things. Oh and vitamin D… need more of that too. #stillacancerslayer”
Well said. We can’t say we’re surprised that Shannen shared this latest update on social media, as she was very transparent about her cancer treatment, even documenting the loss of her iconic locks.
We couldn’t applaud Doherty’s candor and bravery more. Stay strong, girl!
