But it seems we were wrong (and that Simon got his wish!) because Sharon Osbourne is reportedly returning to The X Factor UK as a replacement for Tulisa Contostavlos!
TV’s Queen Mum will apparently get a cool $1.5 million for the gig, but one alleged insider reveals:
“Sharon and TV bosses feel there is very much unfinished business following her first stint on the show ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and are delighted that she has agreed to return.
It was never about the money for Sharon. She genuinely loves the programme and considers her previous time on the panel as being a very fulfilling time in her life. Despite her ups and downs with Simon Cowell over the years, she has always remained a part of the family and the pair of them currently enjoy a really close friendship.”
Awww yay!
And honestly, getting out of LA and being in England for a while might just be what her and Ozzy’s relationship needs…
We know they’ve officially split, but perhaps after SUCH a long time of being apart, they’ll fall into each other’s arms once more?
Orrr not.
Now if we only knew who was replacing Britney Spears on the US version of X Factor… we just can’t imagine WHO could fill those EPIC shoes!
