Oooooooh! The perceived patriarch of One Direction has spoken up!
The video of Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson smoking some marijuana basically BROKE the internet and had fans extremely disappointed in the two boys.
However, the guys have found their fair share of support from various sources. (Cough Snoop Dogg cough.)
But it seems they’ve found ANOTHER supporter: Simon Cowell!
Wait, what?!? He supports them using weed?!
Well, not exactly, but the X Factor judge is sticking by the boys.
He said:
“What I can say is that they’re the hardest-working boys I’ve ever worked with. They still haven’t changed. They’re really respectful of their fans. They’re a great British export [and] they’ve been a joy to work with. I’ve worked with a lot of artists in the past who do lose the plot, who do lose respect for their fans, they’ve never done that.”
Look at that! Such nice words from Simon!
Well, that’s that!
Even though the boys might not have spoke out about it, aside from Liam Payne‘s odd apology, if Simon supports them, then that should be enough!
