Simon Cowell Talks X Factor Female Judges: 'It's A Girl's World In The Music Business'

X Factor’s judge panel is high in estrogen levels this season.

And while we absolutely LOVE what Paulina Rubio, Demi Lovato, and Kelly Rowland bring to the table, alongside Simon Cowell, it turns out the decision to hire a female-heavy team was intentional.

During the TCA press tour panel yesterday, Simon revealed:

“It’s a girl’s world in the music business, so many girls are doing so well in the charts, we thought the panel should reflect it.├óΓé¼┬¥

Meanwhile, Paulina added that she has a lot to offer contestants:

“I’m an artist that has been in the limelight for many, many years, and I’m going to transmit that knowledge.├óΓé¼┬¥

Yep, we’re totes ok with this decision.
