Simon Does Good!

Simon Cowell may be a meanie (but always deservedly) to the contestants on American Idol, but he doesn’t work there anymore, so why dwell!
Still, sometimes it is hard to remember that Simon really does have a heart of gold. Star magazine is reporting that the billionaire Brit hosted a children’s hospital charity event at his home two weeks ago and did something a little out of character.
For the event, he donned a red nose, a face covered in makeup, a wig and full Cher clown costume to entertain! For awhile, no one even knew it was Simon. It seemed so unlikely from the way he was acting. When he revealed himself, it was to the shock and delight of all of the attendees. In all, the event raised $1 million for the hospital!
How sweet!
Maybe now that he is off Idol, he can star in a remake of Patch Adams!
