After his release from jail, Soulja Boy was shocked at all the love coming from his fans.
To show his gratitude, he turned to Twitter:
aye can I have a real moment? my fans was DEEP AS OUTSIDE THAT JAIL MAN IM SORRY!!! thats love!
His arrest, executed on charges of marijuana possession, occurred the same day as the release of his straight-to-DVD film Soulja Boy: The Movie.
And due to his arrest, he missed out on some positive publicity, but later tweeted:
I missed 10 interviews today for my new movie! to those companies i’m sorry! you can see I had a lil situation. the show must go on.
Yes, Soulja, the show must go on. And hopefully it can go on without getting in more trouble!!
