Ashley Jacobs Slams Former Southern Charm Stars Amid Kathryn Dennis Drama

Drama down south!

Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis has an unlikely defender in her corner: former rival Ashley Jacobs. For those who haven’t kept up with the Bravo series, Jacobs once dated Thomas Ravenel, Dennis’ ex and the father of her two children.

On Thursday, she went after Cameran Eubanks, Naomie Olindo, and Chelsea Meissner after the three slammed Dennis following their exits from the series. The three have continued to blame Dennis for claims that Cameran’s husband, Jason Wimberly, had been involved in a two-year affair with a local makeup artist named Rebecca Walsh.

All three women have stated at one point or another that defamatory claims on camera is why they’re walking away from the show, but Jacobs claims that the three actually enabled the conduct, specifically during her time on season 5.

Jacobs penned on her Instagram Story:

“The whole cast was aware of this behavior the WHOLE time. The only reason you [Eubanks, Olindo, Meissner] defended her [Dennis] while cameras were filming (not off camera, keep in mind) was because you lacked the integrity to be honest and real in front of the cameras for fear of unpopular opinion.”

Of Dennis’ character, she wrote:

“You created your ‘Kween’ — this reality TV fictional character by condoning that behavior. And now you’re upset about it?”

When appearing alongside the now-disgraced politician Ravenel, she found herself at odds with the four ladies after she called Dennis an “egg donor,” among other insults. Though Jacobs and Dennis previously butted heads, she says she is her most authentic self at the end of the day:

“I undoubtedly was 100% wrong in my approach to calling her out the way that I did, but never once did I pretend to be something that I was not. You were ALL enablers. I wish I would have used the word COWARDS instead. Seems a bit more fitting.

On a second slide, she added:

“The only reason Southern Charm season 5 was the highest rated season in the show’s history is because it was the only time someone had the courage to speak the truth ✌️.”

It’s been a tumultuous week in Charleston, especially after Eubanks announced via IG comments she would be leaving the show after seven seasons. Though speculation quickly formed that it had something to do with her husband’s alleged affair, Eubanks denied that and even defended his alleged mistress publicly.
