Stage Set To Host Sugarland Collapses, Fans Injured And Killed

This is incredibly sad, and incredibly scary.

Yet another stage collapse has happened. This time it was due to weather — a huge wind gust — and unfortunately fans were injured and killed in the aftermath.

“People were killed and dozens were injured in the collapse of a stage Saturday night at the Indiana State Fair; the country band Sugarland was due to perform but had not yet gone on stage, the Associated Press reports. The incident occurred about 10 p.m. Eastern time.”

Unfortunately there are no specifics numbers as to who was hurt yet.

Our thoughts and hearts go out to those who were injured, and to those who lost their lives. We are so saddened by this tragic event and hope those who survived manage a quick and full recovery.
