Starbucks Wants Lawmakers To 'Come Together'

starbucks-coffee-political-message.jpg
At Starbucks locations in Washington, D.C. employees are writing the words “come together” on coffee cups.
Starbucks’ CEO Howard Schultz said the phrase is meant specifically for lawmakers.
The message is to try and inspire them to work together and come up with a solution before the fiscal cliff approaches.
The fiscal cliff refers to the steep tax hikes and spending cuts that will take effect in January unless the White House and Congress can “come together” and reach an agreement.
We’re sure tons of lawmakers (if not all of them) drink coffee, and will be drinking more as the talks get more intense.
Hopefully someone is inspired by the message and decides to stop all the bipartisan bickering and just come together and find a solution!
Great idea, Starbucks!
