tWitch's Friends From SYTYCD Blast ‘Tacky’ & ‘Opportunistic’ Allison Holker! OUCH!

Allison Holker is taking a LOT of heat.

As we’ve been following, StephentWitchBoss’ widow is facing an overwhelming amount of backlash after sitting down with People and revealing deeply personal secrets about the late dancer, such as his alleged drug use and more. She will also open up about this at length in her upcoming memoir, This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light. Now, his So You Think You Can Dance friends are the latest to make their disapproval known… And they are NOT mincing their words!

Courtney Ann Platt, a longtime friend of tWitch who appeared alongside him on season 4 of SYTYCD, took to Instagram on Tuesday to absolutely SLAM Allison for “shamelessly sharing” details about the late DJ for a paycheck. In part, she wrote:

“This is by far the most tacky, classless, opportunistic act I have ever seen in my entire life.”

Whoa… If this post sounds familiar, it’s because tWitch’s own brother Dré Rose shared the post to his IG Story, adding the caption:

“No lies told.”

Well, it turns out Dré wasn’t the only one who agreed with her thoughts…

Later on Tuesday, SYTYCD season 7 alum Lauren Froderman also shared the post to her Story, adding:

“I haven’t said much because I struggle with knowing whether it’s my place or not but this is just not the way to go about things. Stephen tWitch Boss was loved by soooo many and my heart is BROKEN with how things have been unfolding and this just feels cruel and wrong on so many levels. Thank you Courtney for speaking up and giving me the courage to echo that I do not support this. tWitch you are still a light to so many and we love you and miss you dearly.”

Oof. This is really blowing up in Allison’s face…

Chelsie Hightower, who appeared alongside the late father on season 4 of SYTYCD, also shared Courtney’s post on her Story, chiming in:

“I’ve known Allison since I was an early teen, and seeing her choose to share such deeply personal details about tWitch’s struggles feels so disappointing and inappropriate. tWitch was an incredibly kind and loving man who always looked out for others, making everyone feel valued and included, myself included. He deserves to be remembered for the light he brought into this world, not reduced to his struggles. R.I. actual Peace, @sir_twitch_alot you are missed and loved by so many.”

She continued:

“Sharing @courtneyannplatt’s words because I feel they speak to the heart of this situation.”

Comfort Fedoke, who was a mentor on season 18 of SYTYCD alongside Allison, also shared Courtney’s post to her Story, writing:

“Lies and Fairytales. Stephen said this to me in my dreams when he passed: Nothing is what it seems. [Courtney,] I am right behind you. I’m done with this girl. You are an evil woman and completely disgusting. How dare you try to destroy my brother’s name.”

Wow.

She also shared a lengthy post of her own, questioning why Allison is “airing out” all of tWitch’s struggles online. Read through (below):

Damn.

As we previously reported, Allison responded to some of the criticism by claiming her reason for coming forward is to “help people feel safe to ask for help and support.” But clearly, not everyone agrees this is the right choice.
