As we’ve been following, the Anyone But You co-stars reunited over the weekend at Glen’s sister’s wedding in Dallas. They were right back to being besties. The fact it happened just days after reports surfaced that Sydney called off her wedding to fiancé Jonathan Davino led wishful fans to start shipping them all over again!
And now of course we’ve heard Sydney didn’t just call off her wedding, she’s also completely thrown in the towel on the relationship. And it apparently happened MONTHS ago?? After nearly seven years together, even if it was her call, that’s tough to deal with.
Well, luckily she had a big, muscular shoulder to cry on over the weekend! But seriously, now that they’re both single… what’s up?

On Tuesday, a source weighed in on the current status of Sydney’s relationship with the Top Gun: Maverick star and whether they’re truly just friends or something… More:
“I’d say friends — very close relationship and bonded over their work together on the film. Same sense of humor and both get on well. SNL showed how well they get on.”
Yeah, who could forget her famous SNL monologue in which she jokingly addressed all the affair rumors!
With that being said, the source doubled down on the narrative they’re just “close friends” even after her split. They even said Glen “has been a great support” amid her heartbreak! They DID however hint at a more loved-up future for the pair future:
“Could be romance one day but ultimately they are just close friends at moment.”
Inneresting! Possibly that “happily ever after” Glen’s mom wants for him??
