Sydney Sweeney & Zendaya’s Euphoria Co-Star Addresses Rumored Feud!

A Euphoria season 3 star is speaking out on the rumored feuds behind the scenes!

The third installment of the HBO drama has navigated a rocky path… From multiple cast member deaths, to the four-year gap between seasons premiering, to reports of tension among the main cast. It’s all been enough to turn any production set into a nightmare! And now one cast member is opening up…

During an interview with Rosanna Scotto on Good Day New York, Euphoria’s newest addition, Jessica Blair Herman — who plays Heather, a friend of Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi’s characters Cassie and Nate — spoke about the behind-the-scenes dynamic. When asked if everyone got along, she revealed:

“They really did, and I’m not just saying that. They really did.”

For many, this may come as a surprise as sources had previously claimed stars Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney were locked in a “bitter feud” amid the latter’s controversial endeavors. That all seemed to be confirmed at the season 3 premiere earlier this month, where Z completely avoided the Anyone But You actress. And to really make the message clear, the two haven’t appeared in even ONE show promo together — despite both appearing alongside other cast members, including Jacob, Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, and Maude Apatow.

So on the subject of their alleged feud, Jessica admitted that a possible reason things were all jolly and good behind the scenes is because she never saw Zendaya and Sydney sharing any scenes together!

“To be fair, when I was there, they’re not sharing scenes. Their storylines are very separate … [They were] shooting on different days and stuff. And there was no drama.”

Wow! It sounds like careful measures were made to keep these two ladies apart on set! Which is inneresting considering how many scenes they shared in the previous two seasons!

Overall, Jessica gushed about the “beautiful working relationship” Euphoria’s core team has created:

“I mean, really, they’ve created this beautiful working relationship, and everyone wants to do the work, to come in and do the job.”

That’s good to hear! As for if season 3 is the last we’ll ever see of the show, she noted:

“I wouldn’t know.”
