If you’ve been holding out hope you might one day get to watch Taylor Frankie Paul‘s axed season of The Bachelorette, you’re gonna love what this Disney exec has to say!
As Perezcious readers know, the highly anticipated season of the ABC dating show was pulled from the air just days before it was set to premiere after a video of Taylor’s 2023 domestic violence incident with Dakota Mortensen leaked. She was also embroiled in other DV allegations stemming from incidents in February, for which she will not be facing charges. It was a tumultuous time for her, and the network decided they didn’t want to air the show during all the drama. Fair!
But now? With no charges and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives headed back into production, is there a chance ABC will drop the show? Or would they sell it to a different streamer?

Disney’s unscripted and reality TV chief, Rob Mills, addressed this in an interview with Variety on Wednesday, teasing:
“Everything with that is one day at a time.”
That is not a no!
He said something similar in a chat with Deadline. Reflecting on the media storm of the fight video and the fresh allegations, he said:
“The day all of that stuff happened, really our first sort of concern was really for Taylor and the family and everyone involved in that … it was really more on a human level.”
Now that the storm has settled, he acknowledged:
“Now, we’re sort of taking it a day at a time.”
And then he dished:
“I think her season is a wonderful season by Bachelor standards. If it gets seen, I’m sure people will absolutely enjoy it.”
OK, sounds like he even wants the world to watch! Soooo, maybe this season will see the light of day sometime soon? But for right now, Mills doesn’t want to get anyone too excited. Addressing rumors that the show, which is produced by Warner Horizon, might be licensed elsewhere, he said he’s had no conversations with Warner Bros. Television about that possibility:
“I think if there’s something that absolutely says very clearly, one way or the other, that points in that direction, you’ll know. But right now, there’s really just nothing to say other than it is a great season, and I hope that, at some point, Bachelor Nation gets to see it.”
FWIW, while Mormon Wives is starting up production again and Taylor has reportedly been welcomed back by the cast and crew, according to some reports, she won’t be filming right away, if at all for the remainder of the season. She’s also vanished from social media, so it seems like she might be looking for a break from the spotlight at the moment. Might not be the best time to put the show out then!
But would U watch? Or do you think it’s better to stay in the vault? Sound OFF in the comments (below)!
