The queen bee of MomTok is gone?!?!
It appears Taylor Frankie Paul deactivated both her TikTok and Instagram accounts shortly after news broke on Wednesday that she is not returning for Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives for now. Wow! So much for choosing to document “how ugly healing” is online! She apparently had a change of heart!

Taylor gave no warning or explanation as to why she shut down her accounts, which boasted millions of followers. She did, however, repost one last cryptic video on TikTok that social media users caught! It read:
“Humble enough to know I am replaceable at work. But confident enough to know it would take 3 people.”
Telling! Very, very telling! She’s clearly super upset.
Her sister, Aspen May, also took to the comments section of Secret Lives Updates on Instagram to say about the news:
“Everyone has their breaking point”

Whoa!
After reports claimed Taylor and Dakota Mortensen would not be coming back for Season 5, she left a comment on an article saying that wasn’t what SHE was told! The comment implied the reports left her feeling blindsided and a betrayed.
Sources later clarified she “has the option to return” and may make an appearance, but chose not to at this time because she “is focusing on her kids and mental health issues and recovery from an abusive relationship.” But who know, maybe she was never truly welcomed back after all! Maybe she was told one thing and the cast was told something different? That repost alone is pretty eye-opening!
Either way, a source close to Taylor told People on Thursday she’s taking a social media break for her mental health. They also stressed that she’ll determine when she’ll film Mormon Lives again, saying:
“Taylor is a taking a breather. It’s been a lot last couple months to consume and will be back shortly to continue sharing her story. She’ll decide when the time is right to return to filming on Secret Lives.”
Regardless of what some fans may think about Taylor, she has been through a lot the past few years. A social media break is probably what is best for her, especially since her legal drama with Dakota isn’t over yet — even after facing no criminal charges following their domestic violence incidents. They still have to go to court next week to deal with their protective orders against each other. There’s also custody over their 2-year-old son, Ever, to settle, as Taylor only has supervised visitation rights at the moment due to the scandal. It’s a lot for one person to deal with, so we hope she takes all the time she needs offline.
