Taylor Swift STILL May Not Perform Her Old Songs At The AMAs Amid Fallout With Scooter Braun??

Despite scoring a win in her ongoing spat with Scooter Braun and Big Machine Records, we’re hearing reports Taylor Swift still may not perform any of her old hits at the upcoming American Music Awards!!

Wait, seriously? After fighting so hard for the right to showcase her musical catalog, Tay might pass on it anyway??

For our readers who might’ve missed the latest development, the pop star’s former label reportedly reached a (provisional?) agreement with Dick Clark Productions on Monday that grants her permission to sing any tracks from her last six albums (which are now owned by BMLG) at the big awards show. So, what gives?

TMZ sources claim there just isn’t enough time for the Shake It Off singer to incorporate the old songs in her performance and properly rehearse them before she hits the AMAs stage on November 24.

According to her team, Swift would need at least a month of prep for a production of this magnitude and with less than a week to go until showtime — the odds of us hearing those classic tunes are looking slim to none.

In fact, the outlet reports the starlet did not go through any final run-throughs in the last few days either as she spent the weekend at her apartment in London.

Granted, Taylor was probably too busy dealing with the drama brought on by her former manager and business partner Scott Borchetta. However, the lack of last-minute rehearsals seems to hint the songstress is most likely all ready to go and committed to what she’s already put together (most likely selections from Lover) for fans. She could surprise us, but who knows!

It’s worth noting the artist did say she was planning on performing those specific records from the very beginning, though. It makes you wonder just how far along Taylor was with that idea before the infamous Tumblr open-letter came out exposing the battle going on behind closed doors…

So, is Scooter having the last laugh??

Judging by how quickly things have escalated since the news about all this first broke, we’re almost certain this musical battle isn’t over yet.

However, it appears the manager is trying to adopt a kinder approach to the whole controversy for the time being if his latest social media post is to be believed!

The 38-year-old music executive posted a message to Twitter on Monday which reads, “Kindness is the only response” which are his current “words to live by.” See what we mean and check out his post (below):

Hmm. Sounds like the dude is trying to bite his tongue before he says something else to launch the Swifties firing squad on him…

Are you buying this message, Perezcious readers? Or, is Braun throwing some sort of subtle shade here?
