VOTE: Are You Team Taylor Swift Or Team Scooter Braun Amid Feud??

There’s so much to unpack in the ongoing feud between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun, and people have STRONG opinions about who they’re siding with amidst it all.

To catch you up to speed, the lingering drama between the Lover songstress and her old record label Big Machine Records reached new levels of insane when Tay penned (another) open letter on Tumblr, claiming Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta were banning her from performing her old songs at the upcoming American Music Awards.

While the men have maintained the Grammy winner is spinning a “false narrative” and that she can play her old tunes at the show, the 29-year-old stands firm that her music is being held hostage.

Plenty of statements have been made in the days since the original post by Swift, but it doesn’t seem like much has been truly resolved, especially since Justin Bieber‘s manager still claims Taylor won’t sit down for a chat with him.

As we reported Friday morning, Braun wrote an open letter of his own directed at the pop star, published the day after his first public response to the music catalog situation. Expressing his desire to find a solution and echoing brief statements made to a group of avid Swifties, the manager penned:

“Since your public statement last week there have been numerous death threats directed at my family. This morning I spoke out publicly for the first time saying I wouldn’t participate in a social media war. However I came home tonight to find my wife had received a phone call threatening the safety of our children as well as other threats seen above. I won’t go into the details of the past week. I have been at a loss. Thinking of my wife and children, my team and their families, I have gone through a range of emotions on how to deal with this. I write this now only after a deep breath and much reflection. I am certain there is no situation worth ever jeopardizing anyone’s safety.”

Death threats are DEFINITELY never okay, and we can only imagine how scary that must be for him and his family. Celebrities have been trickling in on social media to share statements of support. To recap, here’s who has come out in support of Braun (not including those who spoke out over the summer when all of this first got started):

  • Justin Bieber — “What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog?”

And here’s who’s got Tay’s back (again, not including additional celebs who have spoken out in the past):

  • Selena Gomez — “Taylor fights. She will never stop fighting.”
  • Gigi Hadid — “Taylor and her fans deserve to celebrate the music!!”
  • Halsey — “It is her grace and patience in these moments that make her Artist of the Decade.”
  • Camila Cabello — “I can’t even wrap my head around how this could happen”
  • Ruby Rose — “This is not ok…”
  • Todrick Hall — “This makes me soooo angry”
  • Rebecca Black — “what a complete power pull”

What do U say, Perezcious readers? Are you team Taylor? Or siding with Scooter? Let us know (below):
