The cool teachers always get in trouble!
A 15-year-old student is suing his school district because he was injured after his teacher came into his classroom wearing a mask and carrying a chainsaw.
The student’s lawyers said it went down like this:
“He was in a class at Taunton High School, and there was a knock on the door. He was instructed by the teacher to open the door.When he opened the door, a teacher was there wearing a mask and holding a chainsaw.”
My client was terrified, ran from the scene, fell over a chair and struck his left knee on the floor. He had a fracture in his knee and had to undergo surgery.”
Now the boy and his family are asking $100,000 in damages to offset the extensive medical bills that resulted from the Halloween prank.
Ridiculous! This was just a silly prank gone wrong.
We can’t punish teachers for trying to keep their students interested by mixing in a little fun!
