UPDATE 07/16/19 9:10 A.M. PST: Police have confirmed the identity of the slain girl as Bianca Devins, as more horrifying details have been revealed.

Her alleged assailant Brandon Clark is being held on a second-degree murder charge, with enforcement adding he was found stabbing himself in the neck. He was said to be taking selfies on top of Devin’s body, which was underneath a green tarp.
Utica police Lt. Bryan Coromato says the case is being investigated as a murder and attempted suicide.
As for Bianca’s relationship with her alleged murderer, police are saying the two met on Instagram around two months ago, and their “relationship progressed into a personally intimate one.”
“They had spent time together, and were acquainted with each other’s families.”
According to their report, the pair attended a concert together Saturday night in New York City, where they later got into an argument. They arrived back in Utica early Sunday, and continued to argue when Clark allegedly used a large knife to kill the teen.
The 17-year-old’s family released a statement following her passing, saying the young girl had just graduated high school last month and had plans to attend college in the fall.
“Bianca’s smile brightened our lives. She will always be remembered as our Princess.”

We should also note there has been no official confirmation from law enforcement sources of the parties involved. However, based on what we’ve seen posted on social media there can be little doubt.

The Utica Police Department has confirmed while on an “attempt to locate” call early Sunday morning they discovered a woman dead and a man with “significant injuries” — specifically cuts and lacerations. The man was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
The police have not identified the parties involved yet. However, the alleged murderer did so himself; it appears the female was 17-year-old Bianca Devins.
Bianca was an Internet personality, with over 40 thousand Instagram followers under the name @escty; she was perhaps better known for her posting on the popular, less regulated site 4chan, where she posted as Oxychan.
But it was on Instagram that reports of the teen’s death first surfaced.
A man named Brandon Andrew Clark posted what amounts to a confession on his own Instagram page, which has since been taken down.
First he posted a photo of her dead body; her throat had been cut so deep she was nearly decapitated.
Then minutes later he wrote on his Story over another photo:
“I’m sorry Bianca.”
He then changed his IG bio to read:
“10/06/1997 – 7/14/19”
And posted this ominous image:
He then wrote:
“Thanks to everybody who was good to me. I’ll miss you all.”
This was followed by a photo he took of himself with his neck slashed in nearly the exact same place.
That apparently brings us to the moment police found them.
According to one local news report, the man told police he had murdered his girlfriend and intended to kill himself with the knife. However, according to this outlet they were able to talk him down before taking him to get medical attention.

We have seen conflicting reports about Bianca’s relationship to Brandon; the 21-year-old was either her boyfriend, her stalker, or her family friend depending on which reports you believe.
Even once that is cleared up we will probably never understand why he did this.
However, the death of Bianca has been confirmed by at least one other source: her sister.
Liv Devins shared this pic on her own IG page on Sunday:
She shared what is clearly a goodbye message, writing:
“I hate that I have to write this. I hate knowing you’re not going to ever come back home. You were the best sister anyone could’ve ever asked for. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for being the best sister I could ever imagine .Thank you for always protecting me and sticking up for me. I am going to do this for you. Every day I’m going to do my best and I’m going to get through this thing called life and do it all for you. Rest easy, I love you so much forever and always.”
This entire story is so horrible we wish it was nothing more than an elaborate hoax.
However, we have seen the photos (and do NOT recommend you seek them out). It seems unfortunately clear this incident is exactly what it appears to be.
A senseless murder of a young kid whose fans will mourn her for years and whose family will never be the same.
