Wow, these guys just keep getting better and better!
Recently revealed to public knowledge, The Beatles absolutely refused to play for bigots discrimination.
The four legends put it in legal writing to never play for segregated audiences in their 1965 and ’66 tours.
Back then, this was a big deal. But The Beatles were never a stranger to activism, especially John Lennon, who penned:
Come together join the movement. Take a stand for human rights. Fear and hatred clouds our judgement. Free us all from endless night.
Good for them! Kind of mirrors a human rights issue we have today. Except instead of musicians refusing to play in a stand for equal rights, celebrities like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie refuse to get married!
