Oopsie!
On Saturday, Katy Perry was called to the stage of France’s NRJ Music Awards to receive the International Song of the Year award for her worldwide hit I Kissed a Girl.
At the end of the show, though, the host announced that there had been a mistake in vote-counting and that Katy was NOT the winner.
It was actually Rihanna for Disturbia.
The awards were apparently based on results of audience votes on NRJ’s website in the weeks leading up to the awards ceremony.
Did they make her give the trophy back?
How lame, NRJ!
