The Situation Speaks Out After Alarming Video Of Jersey Shore Co-Star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro

Mike Sorrentino is offering some support to Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

If you don’t know, there has been some concern from Jersey Shore fans for Ron lately. It all started when The Sun reported that the 40-year-old reality star was forced to skip the red carpet for the premiere party for the final season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation at Marquee in New York City last week because he was “wasted” and “too messed up.” One insider said:

“He took photos on the carpet at the start, but then he was taken away while everyone did the press line. Ronnie was wasted, so the team made the decision not to let him talk to anyone.”

Worry continued to grow when a video surfaced this week of him struggling to keep his eyes open and slouching over in the middle of a now-pulled SiriusXM interview with his castmates. Watch (below):

Whoa…

It’s unknown what’s going on with Ron. The television personality, who has been open about his struggles with alcohol addiction and mental health issues, has been sober since August 2022, but the fear is that he may allegedly no longer be.

We don’t know if that’s the case, as we mentioned. But whatever is happening, The Situation wants Ronnie to know he will be there for him as much as he can right now. Mike, who is 11 years sober now, took to the comments section of an Instagram post about his rehab center, The Archangels Centers, to say:

“I want to be clear that I am not responsible for the actions of any other cast member. At the same time, my heart is heavy seeing what Ron, a grown adult, chose to present during press. This situation is still developing, and while I do not know the full extent of what he may be going through, I do know it is separate from my path. I will help where I can, including through my organization, The Archangel Centers. I reached out to check in and offer my support, and I am still waiting to hear back. If he is willing, I will be there for him.”

He went on to say he hopes everyone has “empathy” for Ronnie:

“My heart is with anyone who is struggling. I have worked hard to protect my sobriety for nearly 11 years, and I honor that every day while continuing to show up with compassion for others. As more becomes clear, I hope we all respond with empathy. Please be kind to someone who may be suffering.”

Hopefully Ronnie is OK. He hasn’t spoken out about all the concern surrounding him yet. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Let us know.
