May 12th marked a special day for the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
Four healthy Capybara babies were born on that date, and they are sooooooo cute!!!
More good news is that the new capybara litter nearly doubles the existing capybara population at the Cleveland zoo from only five capybaras to now nine capybaras!!!
If you’re not sure what a capybara is – it’s the largest rodent in the world, and can grow up to four and half feet long!!
We wish all rodents looked like these magnificent creatures!!
