As we mentioned last year, hottie Christie Brinkley filed for divorce from douchebag and cheater Peter Cook.
And, now, a year later, the two had to face each other again in a Long Island courtroom yesterday.
According to Cook, he claims Brinkley is trying to ruin his relationship with their kids, Sailor and Jack.
One of his allegations is that Brinkley ruined his trip with his son to Egypt. Jack was supposed to go on a school trip to Egypt chaperoned by his dad, but when Brinkley failed to provide the passport, they had to miss the trip.
Cook adds, “She is doing everything she can to ruin my relationship with my kids. I am trying to move on with my life and I wish she would do the same.”
However, Brinkley’s attorneys reveal: “Peter Cook’s claim that Ms. Brinkley refused to turn over her son’s passport is without merit and totally disingenuous.” Turns out Brinkley was a few hours late as her friend’s mom had just died and Cook refused to go pick up the passport from her home.
As for Cook’s lawyers, they recommended Brinkley get jailed! Along with additional child visitation privileges for Cook and anger management classes for Brinkley.
Brinkley, however, claims Cook violated the divorce settlement by going on various talk shows and allowing his current girlfriend to spend time with their kids.
Brinkley’s attorney adds, “We’re here because Peter Cook filed what we believe is a frivolous application to the court. What Christie Brinkley wants is what’s best for her children. She wants to get this resolved fairly and get it all behind her.”
And she also thinks Cook should be jailed! And pay for her legal fees obviously.
Let’s hope both sides reach an agreement soon or this could turn out to be a long court case.
